My mother passed away on February 8, 2010 at 10.45 am following admission into hospital on Feb 3, 2010 with a collapsed lung. She also suffered a cardiac event and mild kidney failure as a result of this. She was on life-support till Feb 8 – during the period from Feb 3 to Feb 8 – she developed a pneumothorax. Her lung did not expand, and she died of multiple organ failure.
