Hangover?

If you tend to suffer from hangovers often, there’s a way to avoid them.
A hangover is caused by drinking more booze than your body can handle (and not cheap booze or mixed drinks).
The good news is – you can do something about it.
Action points:
  • Don’t drink on an empty stomach. It slows alcohol absorption
  • Include ice cream in your meal – high blood sugar levels, cold stuff, fat and protein-rich foods will slow alcohol’s path to your brain
  • Avoid red wine and brandy – the methanol content in them is tough to break down and this makes headaches worse
  • Avoid pickled fish and cheese.
And oh, don’t drive when you’re drunk. The side effects can be fatal.
You may not live to tell the tale.
