You have GOT to clean your tongue. You really MUST.
Why?
Because the surface of your tongue is a prime area for bacteria to breed. This can attack your teeth and your gums – and then it is goodbye sweet smile. Why trade fine teeth and a lovely smile just because you didn’t clean your tongue?
So clean your tongue. Because you can absolutely avoid this problem. Also remember to brush and floss your teeth twice a day.
Let us now get to the ‘how’.
– Brush the entire surface with a clean toothbrush with gentle pressure – from the back of your tongue to the front.
– Or – take a length of floss, wrap each end around your middle fingers. With downward pressure with your index fingers pull the floss from back to front of your tongue a few times. Don’t forget to rinse the floss in between.
There! You are all done.
